Visits Along The Way   Leave a comment

Leaving Maryland we stopped in Huntington, West Virginia, area to visit with family, taking Bill’s dad from the nursing home to his newly built house for a visit. Brother Bob supplied the Stewart’s hot dogs. Can’t leave Huntington without have a few of those! Visited with Nephew Sam and his family. His little son, Jake, loved to come visit us in our RV. What a cutie.

Next stop, Rickman, Tennessee. We had a wonderful relaxing time with our friends Ann and Bob doing pretty much nothing, but keeping busy. One evening we visited their friends that have an absolutely gorgeous view of the sunset. She has a colt born April 2 that was fun to watch, very mischievous.

Nothing better than a beautiful sunset overlooking the Tennessee Hills with good wine and good friends.

We are now on our way to Vidalia, Louisiana, our meeting place for the start of our Civil War Adventure. $550 in diesel and not even there yet….
