Our son   Leave a comment

Robby has finally finished his training as a tractor trailer truck driver. He’s been on the road for over 6 months and finally got to come home. He pulled up in his HUMONGOUS truck. I can’t believe he can drive that thing.

After dropping the trailer at a local farm, he brought the truck back to the house to do some customizing. Below are all the boys at work.

Everyone has been stopping by for their personalized tour. Even I have never seen the inside of a sleeper cab, a trucker’s home. You would have thought after working for the Teamsters Union for over 30 years, I would have seen the inside of a sleeper cab! Robby’s “digs” looked neater than his room!

Our very dear friend, Joan, who has been Robby’s Speech Pathologist for most of his life, stopped by and was given a tour and an overview of the company’s computer system.

Robby has wanted to be a tractor trailer driver all his life and has finally succeeded in that goal. We are so very proud of him.

But before we left for our next trip (stay tuned for a trip to the Canadian Maritimes and Gaspe) we visited with our son, Billy, daughter-in-law, Jenn, and granddaughter, Olivia. When she wasn’t helping mom fix dinner, she was entertaining us with dancing.
