On to the next tour   Leave a comment

Our Alaska tour has ended.

What beautiful memories.

Not so fond memories as we passed the icefields – that was where we ended up with spaghetti sauce all over the inside of our motorhome! But it reminded me of a couple who helped us clean up the mess by lending their wet/dry vac and were so thoughtful that they brought us dinner, knowing that ours was all over the floor….. also our wonderful wagonmasters who had a spot carpet cleaner.

What a beautiful ride through the Canadian Rockies back to the USA lower 48.

More glaciers!

We stopped by West Glacier, Montana to visit with Bill’s cousin, Gail. We love our visits with her. We were just in time for her friend- -Dan’s daughter’s birthday. What a great time we had. Which included a local wildfire where we got to see how the helicopters collect water from the lake.

A few days of downtime, then back on the road, heading for Idaho Falls, where we will meet with our tailgunners, Phil and Sue, to travel to St. George, Utah, to begin our Grand Circle trip.
